I focus my practice on general civil litigation, with a heavy concentration in real estate and landlord-tenant law. I regularly appear in New Jersey Superior Court and municipal court. I formerly served as the Union City Tenants’ Advocacy Attorney, where I represented and counseled hundreds of tenants facing eviction on almost every ground. I have also prosecuted cases on behalf of tenants, and defended cases against landlords for the return of security deposits, wrongful evictions, rent overpayments, consumer fraud, and unlawful detainer.
Before getting into practice, I served as a law clerk to a judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. After graduating magna cum laude with a degree in political science from Saint Peter’s University, I attended Seton Hall University School of Law. While in law school, I was an intern with the Hudson and Essex County Prosecutors’ Offices. I also hold New Jersey real estate broker and instructor licenses.
